The Pewter Factory Order Process

To make an order please contact us for a password to enable you to login & view prices

1. Add the desired items to the shopping cart & checkout to send us the order details.

2. We will contact you to confirm the order details & shipping cost. We will also request a 30% deposit via Paypal to guarantee production.

3. On receipt of the deposit payment we will have production started for the items in your order.

4. Once production is complete (approx 3-4 weeks) we will QC your order & then contact you with the final details & to request payment of the remaining balance.

5. Orders will be shipped as soon as the balance payment is received.

Please Note : The 30% deposit paid to confirm your order in non refundable. When you confirm an order with us you are entering into a contract to purchase the goods as listed. We cannot accept any changes or cancellation after this point. Please only confirm if you are 100% sure that you wish us to make the listed goods.

FAQ

Is the Pewter factory really a factory?

No. The Pewter Factory works very closely with the very best Pewter factories in Bangkok but we do not run our own factory. Our role is to make the local factory products & designs available for international overseas orders.

Do you have a shop or showroom in Bangkok?

No. We supply only direct international orders via the internet. Many of our products are made to order from local factories and manufacturers and we run only a QC, packing and shipping office for export.

We are coming to Bangkok, where can we find you?

Our Export office is out of the central city & is not set up to receive visiting customers. We work exclusively on the internet with direct international orders & are set up to give our full attention to this.

Do you have a printed catalogue?

Our website is our main catalogue & we do not have a printed version.

Why can't I order less than 10 pieces per design?

As our pewter jewelry is made to order by local factories we have to satisfy the factory requirements for minimum production of a design. Our main range of Pewter pendants can be ordered with minimums of 10 per design. This is the minimum that the factory will agree to produce. Factory minimum casting quantities are usually 50 pieces per design so we are privileged to be offered such low minimums.

Why does it take 3 - 4 weeks to make an order for Pewter Pendants?

Each order is sent to the factory for production as soon as you have confirmed the order with us. There are often many orders in the system at one time & where possible orders are made in the sequence that they are received. We have found that 3 - 4 weeks is the most reliable time estimate that we can offer to ensure an order is complete. Occasionally when the production is busy, some orders do go overtime. Also, when the production is quieter an order is sometimes finished within 2 weeks. These are just some of the challenges of having goods made to order! The main benefit of working this way is that we can currently offer over 3000 designs of pewter pendant, far more than would be possible if we supplied from stock.
